SOCIAL INCLUSION THROUGH ROBOTICS
Our Social Responsibility
We are socially responsible and our program consists of promoting social inclusion (Barriers to inclusion, a social opportunity, BIOS); We work with girls, boys and young people diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome and Autism. Our inclusion program is to "include" these special children in society, to understand that we all learn from our differences and to break the paradigms of traditional education that "tells us" that these children should be included in society. "We do it differently, that inclusion comes from society to them,"DOUBLE WAY INCLUSION".
We do all this through teams of competition in science and robotics, called TEAM BIOSBOT COLOMBIA.
TEAM BIOSBOT COLOMBIA
Team Biosbot Colombia, are science and robotics teams that compete in national and international FIRST LEGO LEAGUE tournaments. We are currently the national sub champions in this tournament in Colombia. Our social responsibility includes girls and boys diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome, high performance autism, children who have been victims of bullying and breaking technological barriers, taking robotics workshops to disadvantaged areas of Bogota. Our project has been running for more than 4 years. Our motto is: Educate in Robotics, to "build" better human beings.
